Executive Board

Megan is a Senior Biological Sciences Major with an emphasis in Human Health and Disease on the Pre-Med Track. She also has minors in Psychology and Biochemistry. Outside of Kappa, Megan is a Rank Leader for the CMB Flagline and is also involved in Campus Band, and the UNL Honors Program. She currently works as a research assistant in the Beadle Center and at a clinical research clinic. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and puzzling.

Travis is a senior chemical engineering major from Omaha, Nebraska. He has been a brother since the spring of 2023 and is excited to continue his service to the chapter over this next year as the Vice President for Operations. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Travis is a drum major for the Cornhusker Marching Band, along with that, he plays the tenor saxophone for both Big Red Express and Campus Band. In his free time, Travis enjoys running, reading, lifting, and playing Mario Kart Wii.

Paige is a junior Chemistry major specializing in Chemical Biology from Gretna, NE. She also has minors in music and food science. Paige is a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band Flagline and Big Red Singers, and has been a brother since the spring of 2024. Outside of music, Paige is involved in the UNL Honors Program and works for The Foundry Community nonprofit. She also enjoys spending her free time reading, with her cats and dog, and seeking out new coffee shops with friends!

Preston is a Junior Music Education Major with the applied area of Trumpet. He has been involved with the UNL Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Trumpet Studio. He is going to be a B-Rank Leader in the Cornhusker Marching Band this upcoming fall. Outside of music, he loves to spend lots of time playing video games or getting up to miscellaneous shenanigans with friends.

Katy is a junior actuarial science major from Lincoln, Nebraska. At UNL, Katy is a member of the CMB flagline and will be a rank leader in the 2025 season. Outside of Kappa Kappa Psi, she is in the Nebraska Business Honors Academy, and works within the Clifton Strengths Institue in the College of Business as a Student Strengths Coach. In her free time, Katy enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, and reading!

Grace is a junior microbiology major on the pre-nursing track. She plays piccolo for the Cornhusker Marching band and flute in Symphonic band in the spring. Her free time is spent outside walking Holmes lake and leading a small group with UNL Salt Company!

Amanda is a Senior Music Education major with a minor in Music Technology from Elkhorn, NE. With an emphasis in trumpet, Amanda studies under Dr. Darryl White. Outside of Kappa, Amanda has participated in the Cornhusker Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Repertory Jazz Ensemble, Campus Bands, All-Collegiate Choir, and numerous student recitals. Amanda is also a rank leader for the trumpet section in the CMB, and is involved in C-NAfME, NSBA, and GPOC. When she is not practicing her trumpet, you can find Amanda crocheting or hanging out with friends!

Cyrus Zgud is a third-year Music Education and Composition major at UNL's Glenn Korff School of Music from Lincoln, NE. He is an active member of the musical community playing piccolo in the Cornhusker Marching Band in the fall, singing with the University Singers, contributing to the Flyover New Music Concert Series, and performing in chamber groups with friends and colleagues. He is also active in the University Honors Program as a leader of the department's peer mentoring program, and holds several positions working in the University Libraries. In his free time Cyrus enjoys gardening, hiking, baking, and making instruments.
